Southwood Park
My clients are empty nesters with a dynamic, eclectic art collection and a refined sense of style. They gravitate towards the clean lines of mid-century modern design and expressed a desire for a neutral background to display their art and to unify the space. They had great pieces of furniture. All we decided to do was give some of the pieces a refresh.
We chose a wool fabric in goldenrod which complements the colors in their art and reupholstered their chairs. We found a fun print and made pillows which pulled out the colors and reflected the textures of a fabulous Walter Inglis Anderson print. We added colorful rugs that were both high performance and stylish.
